It is well known that ·large amounts of plaster of Paris
are thrown away every year from the casting rooms in
pottery works, the polishing sections of plate glass factories,
the sculpter shops and the surgical wards in big

purpose and is generally thrown away. The following
experiments were carried to find out the ways and means
to utilise this costly material again for various purposes.
