Abstract
One of the authors (H. L. C.) durin)! his visits to Jammu and Kashmir was greatly impressed by thn white quartzite.~ occurring in the neighbourhood of Jammu which are very suitable for"glass-making. These brJUidors are derived from two sonrces. The first is the Bonlcler ('onglomerate, on which the town of Jammu is locatL'tl.
