Abstract
A general scheme has been worhed out for rapid and accurate analysis of a wide variety of silicate material such as sand, felspar, clay, bauxite, glass, etc. Silica has been estimated by a modified silico-fluoride method, A/20 3 , GaO and MgO by cornplexometry, Fe20 3 and Ti0 2 by polarography and I l1e al/wlies by flame photometry. The analyt 1cal methods har1e been descrihed in detail and the advantages and li mi tat ions of I he projHJsed scheme hm1e been discussed.
