Studies on the Hydration Resistance of
Sintered Dolomite

Abstract
A comparative study of hydration resistance of difterent
sintered dolomites is reported. A laboratory test method for
studying the hydration resistance of calcined dolomites
employing a domestic pressure cooker as a reaction vessel
is described. Correlation between sintering temperature,
grain size, density, porosity and hydration resistance of
the sintered dolomite is discussed.
