Abstract
Refractories do not belong to the category of consumer goods required by a common man. It is, however, an essential necessity of any heattreating unit. Thus, the industry producing refractories is in reality a feeder industry. The growth pattern of this industry is dependent on the phenomenal changes and the demand of the consuming industries.
