Abstract
Various problems of firing of ceramic goods in Intermittent Kiln encountered during the early part of this century have, to a large extent, been solved by the introduction of continuous Tunnel Kiln in the late Twenties, first in Europe and then in the other continents. Development of Tunnel Kilns vitrually revolutionised the ceramic firing process by raising the output most remarkably and also improving the quality of the products.
