Abstract
A brief review of the various uses of silicon carbide
grain is presented. The process for the commercial
synthesis is described. The work carried out at Regional
Research Laboratory in setting up an experimental
plant and a prototype commercial plant is described.
The specifications and properties of the grain prepared
at the Regional Research Laboratory are presented.
