| Nine bulk samples of asbestos from Chamoli district, U.P., were examined
for their possible utilization in industry. Four of them appear to be p:romisz~ng and
a maximum yield of about 15% fibre from somt of the samples was possz'ble which
compares well with figures availabl;; in literat1ure. The properties of the asbestos
samples ar.e given and the ways in which these could be used in manufacturing
asbestos products have been discussed. |
