Abstract
Five principal clays of Hyderabad State were studied and
their following properties ascertained, mechanical analysis,
chemical composition, water of plasticity, drying and firing
shrinkages, porosity, P. E. C. values and mechanical strength.
Uses are suggested for the clays on the basis of the results
obtained.
