Abstract
I am thankful to you for asking me to preside over today's
Discussion. At the outset I must express my deep sense
of gratitude to Dr. Atma Ram, Director of the Institute, for arranging the discussion meeting and the way in which he is
trying to bring together the glass manufacturers and the
principal consumers of glass goods. The meeting will discuss
the difficulties experienced by the glass bottle manufacturers
and the chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers who are
the biggest consumers of glass bottles and phials, jars, etc.,
in this country.
