| Abstract |
| This paper emb)dies in brief the results of an investigation
un the manufacture of a type of filter candles for use in filtering
blood in hospitals and medical laboratories. Normally,
such filter candles could be made with more ease using
diatomaceous earth or kiesulguhr but the nonavailability of this
material (under the circumstances) occasioned the use of somewhat
different ceramic materials. |
