Abstract
The white clay deposit from Lakhanpur in the Banda
District, U. P. has already been described and found suitable
for pottery manufacture by the author.* The present contribution
contains a short note on the geology of the area in the
neighbourhood of the clay deposit and on the heavy mineral
assemblage of the clay.
