Abstract
Chemical glasses should be resistant to corroding action
ot water, atmospheric agencies, and chemicals ; they should
possess high thermal endurance and as low co-efficient· of expansion
as possible. To standardize a composition for such a
glass, a few glasses which are most commonly used in laboratories
were analysed and batches for these were calculated
from raw materials of known composition.
