Abstract |
One of the authors (H. L. C.) durin)! his visits to Jammu
and Kashmir was greatly impressed by thn white quartzite.~
occurring in the neighbourhood of Jammu which are very
suitable for"glass-making. These brJUidors are derived from two
sonrces. The first is the Bonlcler ('onglomerate, on which the
town of Jammu is locatL'tl. The neighbouring hills are also
built of this Bouldt•r Conglomemt.e to which the namo of
Jammu Boulder Conglomerate ha.~ brt•n given. ln this Conglomerate,
a.lnng with houlrler:.~ uf other rocks, boulders of white
