| Abstract |
| Studies on clay samples from Chilambil, Sasthavattom, KannanaiIoor,
Mulavana and Vellimon in South Kerala have been carried out
with a view to assessing their suitability as fireclays. The physical,
chemical, thermochemical, mineralogical and refractory properties
have been evaluated.
A comparison of the properties of the various samples has been
made with a view to grading them according to their refractory
properties. |
