| The ferrite system (Znx>+Fe1_xS+) (Fet+x+Fet-x>+)O,- is investigated
by measuring microstructure of samples for zinc concentration,
x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 1.0. The effect of Zn on resistivity of the ferrite
system with various values of x has also been studied. By comparison
of results, it is inferred that the resistivity for ferrous-zinc-ferrite is
appreciably affected by the porosity and grain size of the samples.
For 0.2 x 0.4 grain size is large and the resistivity is minimum.
For 0.4 x 0.6 grain size reduces and the resistivity increases to
a maximum. Further, when x = 1.0, grain size again increases and
the resistivity reduces. |
